Weather has changed ...

Just a quick update on weather as I am looking at it everyday and exactly several times a day ;-)

Weather forecast looks better today ...

I will not bother you with weather for a couple of days ...

WTF ... it seems weather might suck ...

I been watching the weather gods from Norway(yr.no) and they say"You're gonna have rain MOFO!!!" or maybe not it still a couple of days but I am a bit worried as I am arriving really early in the morning at the hotel ... like 8-8:30 and checkin is at frakking 15:00 ...what ... yeah it is not an issue but if it is raining what the 'hekk' should I do this early???

Well I figure out something ...I am resourceful.

Wow less than a week

Time really flies ... it is less than a week until I drive to Arlanda airport and take a flight to Krabi and Ao Nang.

I really want to go for vacation and just relax in the shades with a Chang, Leo or Singha beer in my hand.

So I got a mission as well in Ao Nang

... as we are a bunch of friends going to  Krabi/ Ao Nang next year at SongKran I volunteered to check out some hotels that my friends might want to stay at next year ... as I am there soon so why not and also do this then I got something extra to do ... I do not mind.

I my self will stay at 2 different hotels that I haven't stayed at in AO NANG so it will be an experience too me as well.
I will of course blog the experience of these hotel  ... still I have a couple of hotel nights, the last ones and I think I will book e'm in Thailand when I am there.
Things happens in Thailand stays in ... so a couple none booked nights will be perfect ...

Long term parking is also booked ... but how does it work?

If I can ... if there are available parking slots at Lindskrog's parking I will book there.
They are professionals and take care of their customers in a great way.

How does it work?

1. I do book via internet to make sure I get a slot as they can be full, you can also just arrive there... we had but luck once ... it was fully booked.
2. you arrive, stop car just outside office
3. go in and say hello 'I am here now!!!!' and of course pay
4. get your bags out of your car
5. move to any free slot, they have cameras so they can give you directions from office
6. go back to office
7. take the next shuttle bus to your terminal ... perhaps wait a couple of minutes first
8. get out of bus and go to your terminal for checkin

When you come back from your vacation/business trip

1. you have already told them you're coming this time and this date
2. they will be waiting for you and of course other customers
3. in minutes your will be on your way to your car at the parking
4. get your luggage ... leave it or bring to your car.
5.get your car from parking slot
6. get your luggage if you left it
7. drive home

The price of the hotel I looked at is down again ...

 ... or rather I changed the dates and the price per night dropped from 1344 SEK to 611 SEk per night it is a bit expensive still but it should be a seaview room so (with noisy road ... I guess) but I have booked this myself so I know what I am going into or what is coming.

I have been many times at that road and the traffic will never stop it will just be less during night but might still be disturbing.

My first 4 nights

I have booked my first 4 hotel nights in AO NANG.

It will a completely new hotel too me but I have stayed nearby at the same street a couple of times so I know the area a bit.

This hotel is called The Capuchin Hotel.

If it is good I might stay longer and of course if the are rooms available.

I had a look at another hotel which actually is new but the prices are now doubled than when I looked at it last week ... if it goes down I will book it but paying 1344 SEk for a night is not in my price range ... I be watching the price ...

Google street view at AO NANG beach

WOOOW this so cool!!!

I did not know that Google street view also do some walking at public places like at this case ... AO NANG beach and it is so cool because I will be there at the 5 or 6 of November.

I will be at the 15 house/massage place as last time and they "know/remember me". Yeah the fat ass man with the beard and all the cameras ... ;-)

Bad Water

So something has happened with the water in my hometown and nearby towns.

Usually we can drink the water directly from the tap but now we need to cook/boil it to be able to drink it with out getting sick. Bad stomach and diarrhea.

Here is a map of the affected area(s).

This have been going on for a couple of weeks and still they cannot say when it will be safe to drink again.

I have been to India many times via work and have no problem not drinking the tap water even now here in Sweden so I can handle it ;-)

50 years trip ... YES!!!

Well the 50 years trip is not now, me and some guys are going to Thailand this coming SongKran 2018. So we will be a gang of old guys actually having the birthday of 50 next year and will have a get together in Thailand. Most of us will actually fly from Arlanda with the same flight.

But I cannot stand being so long time away from Ao Nang so I will go this November, relax and do my thing, but also check out some new hotels.

I will most likely stay at 3 new to me hotels and also check out other hotel that my company want to stay at next year.

Well next year is the trip, however I actually already had my 50 years trip as you might know, which was last year.

I travelled around the world, quick update:

Flight tickets bought

I found some pretty cheap flight tickets with QATAR airways, the flight schedules are not the best but as the tickets were cheap it will be OK. Flying with THAI airways would more expensive about 1600 SEK more.

So I payed 5700 SEK with QATAR this friday and now the tickets costs 6500 SEK. 

THAI costs 7300 SEK so I think I got a great price.

Vacation Time

I have now booked a trip to AO NANG for two weeks in November. It have been a long time since last time I was in AO NANG so I am really longing to come back. I have seen some pictures and videos from there this year and there are changes that I am eager to see.
